Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

* Power Electronics Design:
Use your expertise in electrical engineering with an emphasis on power electronics and systems to develop and implement solutions

* Programming

Skills:

Write programs using tools such as Lab View, Python, or JavaScript to support testing and design processes

* PCB Design Tools Expertise:
Work with PCB layout tools like Altium or Cadence OrCAD to create and optimize printed circuit board layouts

* Laboratory Equipment Operation:
Hands-on operation of laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, and source meters to perform testing and validation

* Software Proficiency:
Utilize software like MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for simulation, analysis, and design of electrical systems

* Documentation and Communication:
Organize and present findings effectively while communicating technical details clearly

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

* Education:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power electronics or systems

* Programming Proficiency:
Strong programming skills in Lab View, Python, or JavaScript for design and automation tasks

* PCB Design Knowledge:
Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Altium or Cadence OrCAD

* Lab Equipment

Experience:

Practical experience with lab instruments including oscilloscopes, power supplies, and function generators

* Analytical Tool

Skills:

Proficiency in MATLAB, PSPICE, and PLECS for electrical system modeling and analysis

* Soft Skills:

Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision. Strong communication and presentation skills

* Bonus

Experience:

Previous internship or co-op experience in the electrical engineering field is an advantage

* US citizen or green card holder:
This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8
