We are seeking an experienced RF Engineer to join our team as an RF Engineering Manager. In this role, you'll drive the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in high-reliability applications, leading and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions. Our team is composed of industry-leading RF design experts, and we offer a unique work environment that combines cutting-edge design with hands-on electronics laboratory testing and product development.

- Functional management of the RF Engineering team, guiding staff selection, development, work assignments and performance.
- Driving the development and production of a complex multi-function modules in all phases of the product life cycle.
- Designing and developing circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full rate production.
- Leading investigations to understand complex RF problems and providing innovative and ingenious solutions.
- Acting independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the implementation of operational products.
- Mentoring less experienced engineers and collaborating with hardware, systems, and circuit design engineers.
- Contributing to or authoring proposals and participating in business capture efforts.
- Working with technical and manufacturing support personnel to ensure successful product development and production.

Location and EligibilityThis position is in Chelmsford, Massachusetts — located about 30 miles northwest of Boston. The area offers a blend of colonial history, schools, shopping, and dining options. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance, with a company-sponsored Interim Secret required to start.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a STEM field plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional engineering experience.
- Team leadership experience at the project level.
- Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving RF integration issues.
- Extensive experience with RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance and at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting.
- Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
- Leadership experience at the group level with strategic input, staff career management, and budgetary management.
- Significant experience in defense electronics including RF architecture development.
- Experience designing active RF modules, circuits or systems.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting designs and resolving production/ manufacturing issues.
- Extensive experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly, module, or subassembly level.
