* Troubleshooting support and recovery of faults on 20+ pieces of custom robotics around the factory
* Implement improvements to production automation systems, primarily programming Robotics, PLCs, and Vision Systems
* Document issues and resolutions in Azure Dev Ops to properly convey impact to leadership and stakeholders.
* Update documentation for changes made to deployed systems
* Liaise with manufacturing engineering and operators to understand and resolve issues What You Will Learn
* This role will merge technical, manufacturing, and business knowledge to drive new innovations across Raytheon.
* The role has a foundation in controls engineering and will allow for knowledge growth on advanced robotic equipment that is transforming the way that Raytheon assembles product.

* Learning the intricacies of every custom cell and overcoming the inevitable equipment challenges, including mechanical, electrical, and programming, will be paramount to your success.
* The candidate will work in a highly collaborative team of automation systems engineers onsite in Andover, MA. Qualifications You Must Have
* Typically requires BS in an Engineering field or the sciences (STEM) AND minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, and/or automation engineering; or 3+ years with an advanced STEM degree in Engineering.
* Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
* Rockwell PLC and HMI experience
* Fanuc Robotics experience
* Machine vision experience
* The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer Active DoD Secret Clearance Ability to create electrical schematics Keyence, Cognex, or iRVision experience Advanced PLC programming knowledge, including structured text
