Role SummaryRaytheon is seeking a motivated 1st shift Senior Electrical Engineer to support Maintenance, Repair and Engineering (MTE) within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department, located in Andover, MA. This position supports production maintenance needs on the Operations floor to ensure proper station uptime. Candidates must operate effectively in a high tempo environment, multi-task, and coordinate across multiple support areas.
WhatYou Will Do
- Work with minimal supervision while maintaining test platforms on the manufacturing floor.
- Troubleshoot complex test station and fixture failures on RF/Digital test platforms using established practices and procedures.
- Coach and influence technicians regarding troubleshooting best practices and techniques.
- Interpret schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting of test stations and equipment.
- Design moderate improvements to systems and test equipment to enhance performance and uptime.
- Document failure analysis and resolution steps to maintain a troubleshoot guide for future use.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong familiarity with electronics across RF, Digital and AC/DC Power platforms with working knowledge of RF; plus an understanding of interfacing applications or related mechanical aspects.
- Experience developing, editing, and improving preventative maintenance and calibration procedures.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience with CORE principles or similar continuous improvement methodologies

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range is a good faith estimate and depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance, and education programs. Some benefits vary by business unit and collective-bargaining agreement status.
This role is a U.S.
