Responsibilities
- Develop the next generation of rugged, secure processing solutions as part of a Systems Engineering team focused on processing technology for aerospace and defense applications.
- Design, integrate, verify, and deliver rugged, secure, embedded products; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to protect against reverse engineering, unauthorized access, and exploitation.
- Work in a matrix organization with Line of Business Chief Engineers, systems engineering, program management, business development, operations, supply chain, and executive leadership to meet customer needs.
- Support an environment of integrated thinking and empowered decision‑making to advance security and system engineering objectives.
- Contribute to development of secure/anti‑tamper processing solutions and related protections across multiple product lines.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or higher) in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
- Typically 6+ years of experience in Systems Engineering.
- Experience with system engineering principles including requirements development and management, system design, and verification/validation.
- Experience in System Security Engineering (SSE) principles, reverse engineering, and embedded security.
- Experience designing, implementing, and/or testing real-time embedded security solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) platforms.
- Experience generating Anti‑Tamper technologies, including hardware/software protections, secure boot, and encryption.
- Experience with Cyber Security and/or Key Management plans.
- Experience in vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
- U.S. citizen with an active U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Advanced degree in a STEM discipline.
- Familiarity with security state‑of‑the‑art FPGAs and Intel CPUs.
- Demonstrates ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders and customers in a team environment.
- Familiarity with design, integration, test, and fielding of secure systems.
- Familiarity with VPX and/or rack‑mount server hardware.
- Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architect or equivalent MBSE tools.
- Experience with Jama, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time (location dependent).
