We’re supporting a high-profile manufacturing site delivering multiple large-scale capex programs, and we’re looking for a Utilities Project Engineer with strong HVAC expertise to join the team.
This is a hands‑on SME role
, where you’ll act as the technical authority for HVAC and utilities across several concurrent projects in a live manufacturing environment.
- Embedded on‑site with the end client
, working directly on their projects - Key role in major facility upgrades and modernisation programs
- Long‑term opportunity, 2–3 years+ with strong pipeline beyond
- Be the go‑to technical expert
, not just another project resource
You’ll operate as the HVAC SME within the project team
, supporting delivery across multiple capital projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and approving designs, submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation
- Supporting construction, installation, and commissioning
- Conducting system walkdowns to ensure installation aligns with design intent
- Providing input into commissioning and system readiness
- Acting as a technical advisor to Project Managers
- Supporting work in a live manufacturing environment
, including shutdown coordination
You’ll be employed by a well‑established,

- Experience supporting capital projects (design and/or construction)
- Comfortable with submittals, RFIs, specs, and drawing reviews
- Exposure to commissioning and system handover
- Broader utilities knowledge (plumbing, waste systems etc.) is beneficial
Life sciences experience is beneficial, but not essential.
