Position OverviewSystems Engineer II supporting hardware and software integration activities for the family of Patriot programs, including fielded Patriot equipment within the Andover-based Patriot Labs.
What You Will Do- Contribute to the successful technical execution of complex integration and test events.
- Perform daily test execution and troubleshooting activities within an engineering laboratory environment.
- Use working knowledge of software programming to support complex software and hardware integration testing and troubleshooting.
- Develop expertise in program-specific hardware and software interfaces.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and resolving software and hardware issues, documenting all actions and steps taken.
- Utilize working knowledge of Linux/Unix to troubleshoot and configure assets to meet customer needs.
- Travel domestically up to 10% (including to White Sands Missile Range).
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with C/C++, LabVIEW, Python, and/or FORTRAN 77.
- Experience with Linux and/or UNIX.
- Experience identifying and troubleshooting hardware issues and documenting steps taken.
- Experience with radar systems or complex military systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with instrumentation and/or test equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeter, and/or spectrum analyzer.
- Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD.
