What You Will Do
  • Develop and improve test processes by analyzing product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes to support customer requirements.
  • Provide technical direction for the test and troubleshooting of complex electronic assemblies and test equipment.
What You Will Learn
  • Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including test instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tool and fixture designs.
  • Work with test development engineers on new or existing test hardware and software.
  • Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporate engineering changes into the MDP, provide technical support to testing of production hardware and maintain test equipment.
  • Dispositioning non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate, and reduce costs using CORE principles and data‑driven decision making.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of test experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge and ability to apply RTX CORE principles and techniques.
  • Interpretation of test requirements and schematic diagrams, knowledge of operating commercial test equipment for test and troubleshooting.
  • Hands‑on electronics aptitude.
  • Innovative mindset to drive continuous improvement and keep pace with technology.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Proven written and oral communication, including presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word), statistical evaluation tools (SPC, data distribution analysis), and shop floor tools (PRISM, PDM, CMES).
