Software Intern - Machine Learning

Skyworks is seeking a software intern with interest in machine learning with a focus on data-driven decision making based on a large matrix of RF test data. The focus will be on defining the test input variables, learning algorithms, and optimizing a scripting interface to RF test systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implements machine learning models and algorithms.
• Define the machine learning pipeline, including data collection, preprocessing, development, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the solutions into RF test systems.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and preprocess data for enhanced model accuracy and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Master or Ph.D. student in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition, Statistics, or a closely related field
• Programming skills in C++/C# or Python.
• Experience with optimization algorithms (e.g simulating annealing, RMSprop) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills,

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
