Manufacturing Technology Deployment Engineer

Overview

The Manufacturing Technology Deployment Engineer will serve as the primary on‑floor representative for Raytheon's Digital Manufacturing & Analytics Group at the RFC semiconductor foundry in Andover, MA. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent use of factory applications, including the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Fault Detection Control (FDC) application, and home‑built interfaces.

Salary range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD.

• Serve as the primary on‑floor representative for the group.
• Ensure engineers and operators can effectively use MES, FDC, and tool‑specific interfaces.
• Create and maintain training materials; document escalation pathways; curate internal knowledge to support long‑term user adoption.
• Lead recurring training sessions and provide hands‑on training for new interfaces.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with Facilities to implement physical elements (e.g., mounting tool‑side tablets, positioning workstations, ensuring network connectivity, and peripheral installations).
• Serve as continuous point of contact between the group and fab‑floor stakeholders.

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, systems engineering, semiconductor engineering, or manufacturing technology.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments or a background in systems/industrial engineering or computer science.
• Clear communication, confidence, and ability to earn trust when training operators and engineers.
• Familiarity with semiconductor equipment.
