The Sensors, Surveillance & Space Configuration Management department is looking for an individual to perform the role of a Configuration Analyst, located in Andover, MA.
What You Will Do- Apply and administer established Configuration Management (CM) procedures and processes for Configuration Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification and Audits.
- Coordinate of Configuration Documentation, Change Requests, Initial Release establishing configuration baseline / Changes to the Configuration baseline, ensuring Status Accounting Integrity and maintenance of the technical data package.
- Participate in control/administration in the review/disposition of Configuration documentation and changes to the established configuration baseline.
- Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program.
- Ensure integrity of the Configuration Documentation supporting the reviewers (engineering, quality, support, manufacturing), and that customer requirements are implemented.
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree; if absent, four years of relevant experience is required.
- Requires less than two years of prior experience in Data Management or Configuration Management, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of government defense contracts, specifications, and instructions.
- Experience related to Configuration Management and customer support.
- Ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to contribute to project completion, obtain results and make recommendations.
- Proven excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑starter, willing to learn new tools and work with a variety of technical and non‑technical disciplines.
- Ability to proactively interface with the team.
- Relocation eligible.
- Onsite role: employees will work primarily onsite.
The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD – 108,800 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including the role, function, and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
