Engineering Services Memorandum (ESM) Program Quality Lead
Location:
Andover, Massachusetts, United States. Role type:
Onsite. This position requires U.S. citizenship and a valid U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
- Serve as Program Quality Lead supporting Program Manager execution of key ESM tasks responsible for funding quality across CPT, IPT, functions, and program.
- Collaborate across all IPTs and CPTs and establish working relationships with functional team members in contracts, finance, planning, engineering, supply chain, quality, digital technologies, and in‑country teams.
- Coordinate program/customer reviews, meetings, internal handoffs and customer deliveries aligned to ESM execution.
- Support the Program Manager in partnering with customers on program scope execution and resolution of issues.
- Drive quality tasks, participate in design reviews, CCB sign‑offs, qualification planning, flight test walk‑ups, independent reviewer reviews, and trade studies in support of ESM tasking.
- Support sustainment team with fielded assets driving continued improvements in hardware, system, software, reliability, and maintainability.
- Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, or related engineering discipline.
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Experience with ISO
9001, AS9100, or AS9145 standards. - Experience interpreting contractual flow‑downs, requirement flow‑downs, and drawing schematics.
- Ability to obtain an interim U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.).
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
- Experience in engineering, development, project planning, and collaborating across a matrixed organization.
- Working knowledge of ISO
9001/AS9100 quality management systems, AS9145 Requirements for APQP & PPAP, and FAI Standard AS9102. - Knowledge of industry technical standards such as ANSI, CMMI, ASTM, etc.
- Experience as a technical engineer with proven communication skills that exhibits presence and influence and self‑managed technical contribution.
- Experience supporting cost proposals and/or gate packages.
- Demonstrated program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources.
- Experience with EVMS, Risk & Opportunity Management, IMP and/or IMS development with proposal activities.
Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
