Position Summary
We are seeking a 1st shift Senior Electrical Engineer to support Maintenance, Repair and Engineering within the Metrology & Test Equipment Maintenance (MTEM) Department in Andover, MA. The role focuses on maintaining test platforms on the manufacturing floor to ensure production uptime.
What You Will Do- Operate independently while maintaining test platforms on the manufacturing floor.
- Troubleshoot complex test station and fixture failures on RF/Digital test platforms using best practices and procedures.
- Coach and influence technicians regarding troubleshooting practices and techniques.
- Interpret schematic drawings to aid troubleshooting of test stations and equipment.
- Design moderate improvements to systems and test equipment to enhance performance and production uptime.
- Document failure analysis and resolution steps to maintain a troubleshooting guide for future use.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of test equipment design or troubleshooting experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong familiarity with electronics across RF, Digital and AC/DC Power platforms.
- Experience developing, editing, and improving preventive maintenance and calibration procedures with intuitive techniques.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Experience with CORE principles or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
