Process Support Engineer in the development wafer fab within the Microelectronics / Module Design & Foundry Services Department. Responsible for process development, photolithography, metals deposition, wet chemistry processing, and visual inspection to support Raytheon semiconductor foundry.
Responsibilities- Process and characterize wafers with team members and engineers.
- Operate and maintain semiconductor tools and conduct photolithography, metal deposition, wet chemistry processing, and visual inspection.
- Document and effectively communicate all measurements and processing steps.
- Support production and development fab in various processing needs.
- Attend nearby universities and labs to utilize equipment for prototyping and experiments (once a week or less).
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience with photolithography, metal deposition, wet chemistry processing and/or visual inspection.
- U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
- Understanding of semiconductor processing techniques and equipment.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
- Desire to learn new wafer fabrication skills and willingness to assist team members.
- Knowledge of III‑V semiconductors, preferably GaAs and GaN.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD.
