What You Will Do- Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs) including test instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, tools, and fixture designs.
- Collaborate with test development engineers on new or existing test hardware and software.
- Support manufacturing areas with process troubleshooting, incorporate engineering changes into the MDP, and provide technical support for testing of production hardware and maintenance of test equipment.
- Disposition non‑conforming material and perform root cause and corrective action analysis as required.
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time, ergonomic risk, automations, and costs (direct and indirect) using CORE principles and data‑driven decision making.
- Develop tools and fixtures to embed ergonomics into processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- 2+ years of test experience.
- U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued DoD Secret clearance (interim clearance required prior to start).
- Excellent organizational skills with fine attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of RTX CORE principles and techniques.
- Ability to interpret test requirements and schematic diagrams; familiarity with commercial test equipment.
- Hands‑on electronics aptitude.
- Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and technology adoption.
- Team‑oriented work style.
- Strong written and oral communication, including presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
- Experience with statistical evaluation tools (SPC, data distribution analysis) and shop floor tools (PRISM, PDM, CMES).
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Active DoD security clearance (Secret) preferred.
- Experience with refurbishment and repair requirements and processing of Government Furnished Material (GFM) or Equipment (GFE).
