Project Engineer​/Project Coordinator

Description

You will serve as a Project Engineer within the Chelmsford Engineering & Technology organization, supporting the Integration & Test Equipment Department. In this role you will plan, organize, track, and report on activities for Advanced Programs (AP).

• Serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for AP.
• Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), ensuring alignment with milestones and resource plans.
• Act as the primary material procurement liaison for AP, overseeing requisitions, receipt verification, and kitting operations.
• Identify and drive continuous process improvement initiatives that boost project execution, efficiency, and improve documentation quality.

• Experience in building relationships and communicating effectively with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance and interim Secret prior to start; must be a U.S. citizen.
• Experience as a CAM and with IMS.

• Project Management proficiency and experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Experience working in a defense company with an engineering or manufacturing background.

This position requires a government security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required for consideration.

Onsite full‑time; schedule consists of 4×10 hour days with 3 days off per week.

Annual base salary range (excluding major metropolitan areas) is $70,100 – $123,625. For most major metropolitan areas range is $80,600 – $139,840.
