JOB TITLE: RF Engineer
LOCATION:
Andover, MA
PAY RATE: $118.70/hour
- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (interim required to start)

- Support development and production of complex RF multi-function modules across the full product lifecycle.
- Design and develop RF circuits, modules, and subsystems from concept through prototyping and full-rate production.
- Solve complex technical problems with innovative and effective solutions.
- Independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve design and integration issues.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, circuit design, manufacturing, and technicians.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (interim required to start).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
- Extensive experience in RF design at CCA, subsystem, or module level.
- Experience with schematic capture, RF block diagram reviews, and CCA development.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for design and integration issues.
- Experience with microwave test equipment (e.g., network analyzers, spectrum analyzers).
- Proficiency with RF/microwave simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST Microwave Studio, HFSS).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience in the defense electronics industry.
- Expertise in RF subsystems and hardware (antennas, transmitters, receivers, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation/conversion).
- Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools.
- Knowledge of microelectronics assembly techniques.
- Strong technical documentation skills (specifications, schematics, test data).
- Experience leading technical projects.
Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations.
