An exciting opportunity exists for an RF Electrical Test Engineer I – 4th Shift to join our engineering test team at the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. AMSD develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits, and modules for defense applications.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Oversee measurements on GaAs and GaN devices and MMICs (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits) in a production environment
- Setup electrical test systems
- Utilize software to control test equipment and upload test results
- Validate test systems setups, review, and accept compliant device data
- Support the wafer foundry and MMIC design teams
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and Experience with RF/Microwave electrical measurements. (In absence of a degree, 5 years of prior related work experience is required).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience/coursework in one or more of the following: RF/microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Electrical Components
- Experience with any of the following software:
Python, Labview, Keysight ADS, HFSS, Cadence Virtuoso, MATLAB, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Expedition, AutoCAD, TCAD, C++, Java, JMP
