Global Operational Technology (OT) Team Intern
We are seeking a Fall 2026 part-time Global Operational Technology (OT) Team Intern based in Andover, MA to support our Global Digital Energy team for data centers. This role provides hands-on experience in both technical and operational aspects of the controls and automation business in the data center segment, offering opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow through real-world applications and team collaboration.
What will you do?
- Build foundational skills in Digital Energy (energy systems and digital intelligence), solution architecture, and technical pre-sales for Smart Grids, Smart Buildings, and Energy Management Platforms
- Support lab activities and testing environments, contributing to learning and experimentation
- Participate in customer meetings and workshops, gaining exposure to real-world engagements
- Organize and maintain team collateral and documentation within central storage systems, including SharePoint and Smartsheet
- Develop and structure a knowledge base to improve accessibility and reuse of content
- Assist in creating technical assets (presentations, reference materials) to support customer conversations and internal skill-building
- Support coordination and organization of events, conferences, and team participation
- Collaborate effectively within a globally distributed team
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Curious, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a strong learning mindset
- Demonstrates initiative, confidence in asking questions, and a willingness to grow through experience
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or another related field
- Located in and able to work in the Andover, MA area on a part-time basis
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $22.50 - $27.00 per hour. In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location. The compensation rate for this position is for candidates located within the United States. Individual pay is determined by several factors including knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
