Test Engineer, Hardware Engineer
Position
Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. is seeking a Senior Engineer (Andover, MA) to support the design and development of state‑of‑the‑art digital power controllers.
Responsibilities- Design and verify digital power controller IP using System Verilog and UVM.
- Plan and execute unit, subsystem, and system‑level design and verification activities.
- Build scalable and reusable test benches with checkers, monitors, scoreboards, and cover points.
- Perform code and cover‑point coverage analysis to maximize test completeness.
- Execute early design analysis including linting, CDC, and RDC.
- Implement STA and UPF constraints for synthesis and placement & routing.
- Run system‑level digital/behavioral simulations and correlate results to real‑time hardware lab measurements.
- Interact with the embedded firmware team to evaluate and verify chip‑level functionality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience or coursework in digital or electronics design and verification.
- Proficiency with analytical computational tools such as MATLAB or Python.
- Knowledge of circuit simulation and analysis tools (Spice, Simetrix, SIMPLIS, NL5).
- Strong skills in Verilog/System Verilog and RTL digital simulation on Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with RTL verification methodologies and UVM.
- Familiarity with FPGA emulators and hardware prototype–based verification.
- Understanding of microcontroller‑based architectures and programming languages (ARM,
C). - Experience with software tool automation and scripting languages (Perl, Tcl, Python).
- Ability to automate laboratory environments and data capture.
- Allowed to telecommute up to 2 days per week.

BenefitsSalary Range: $100,610 – 110,671 per year
