Position Summary
Senior Systems Engineer – Flight Test Mission Lead for Patriot programs. This onsite position located in Andover, MA requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting flight test missions, coordinating test readiness, scenario development, simulation and hardware‑in‑loop runs, and managing travel logistics for up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Responsibilities- Lead flight test mission planning, execution, and reporting.
- Perform test planning and walk‑up activities, including readiness assessments.
- Develop scenarios, run simulations, and conduct hardware‑in‑loop trials.
- Coordinate with analysts and subject‑matter experts to ensure pre‑mission data is properly analyzed and presented.
- Collaborate with the overall Patriot Flight Test Lead to identify resources needed for test events.
- Identify and coordinate travel team members, provide required briefings, access, and permissions, and manage travel logistics.
- Travel as needed (up to 10%) domestically and internationally to support mission execution.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with system integration and/or system test.
- Ability to generate technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and technical reports.
- Preferred: experience performing radar and/or system‑level performance data analysis.
- Preferred: experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field supporting integration and/or verification.
- Preferred: experience planning or executing system‑level test events (ground tests, flight tests, or customer system tests).
- Preferred: experience interfacing with internal or external customers and using MATLAB or other data‑analysis tools.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Relocation assistance is available.
