Senior Systems Engineer - Flight Test Mission Lead, Patriot programs

350 Lowell St, Andover, MA, USA

• Flight Test Mission Lead: planning, execution, reporting
• Lead test planning and walkup, including readiness assessments
• Execute scenario development, simulation runs, hardware‑in‑the‑loop runs, and record keeping
• Coordinate with analysts and subject‑matter experts to analyze and present pre‑mission data
• Collaborate with the overall Patriot Flight Test Lead to identify required resources
• Identify and manage travel logistics for travel team members; coordinate required briefs, access, and permissions
• Travel as needed (up to 10%) domestically and internationally to support mission execution
• The role is onsite at RTX facility in Andover, MA

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with system integration and/or system test
• Experience generating technical documentation (test plans, procedures, reports)
• Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret or higher); U.S. citizenship required

• Experience performing radar and/or system‑level performance data analysis
• Experience in an integration lab, test facility, or in‑field integration/verification
• Experience planning or executing system‑level test events (ground, flight, or customer system tests)
• Experience interfacing with customers and using MATLAB or other data‑analysis tools

• Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (based on experience)
