Role Overview
The Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Process Integration Engineer will support the product and process integration of the SAW product line within Raytheon’s RF Microelectronics Department. The role focuses on performance and yield, data analysis, root‑cause investigations, and cross‑functional engagement to ensure all devices meet program performance, yield, and reliability requirements.
Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze SAW device performance trends to identify and address excursions.
- Establish relationships between process/tool outputs and device yield.
- Lead root‑cause investigations for yield and performance drivers for all SAW product lines.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive cross‑functional teams toward implementation and continuous improvement.
- Interface with internal customers, next‑higher‑level integration teams, and program leads on technical issues, new products, and cross‑functional process improvements.
- Actively communicate with parties within and outside of the work area (off‑shift engineers, work center leads, operation leads, manufacturing personnel, equipment team, etc.).
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in acoustic devices, device fabrication or test, or process integration.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility.
- An advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Understanding of SAW device design and acoustic‑wave device physics.
- Hands‑on experience with acoustic device fabrication, test, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with semiconductor process RCCA, process troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data analysis tools (Excel, JMP, Python, or similar) to drive yield improvement and root‑cause investigations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting procedures, reporting test results, and communicating technical findings.
Salary range:$68,900–$131,100 USD.
