Sr. Section Lead – Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield

We are seeking an engineering manager to join our semiconductor foundry engineering leadership team within the RF Microelectronics / Module Design and Foundry Services Department.
Responsibilities:
- Direct a group of skilled process integration and yield engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices in accordance with various technologies in support of Raytheon Technologies business products.
- Oversee project schedules and cost, determine team priorities, review process changes, identify and champion process improvement opportunities, work to improve process yields, and interface with operations management.
- Facilitate effective allocation of team resources to support the oversight of the foundry processes, assist in identifying program and development funding needs, and foster open communication between functional teams.
- Maintain presence on the foundry floor to understand technical and logistical issues.
- Work with the department manager on manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, developing and delivering employee performance reviews, and developing/reviewing proposals.
- Support management at the Hardware Engineering leadership level and the engineering level.
- Provide support to employees and help guide their careers, maximizing potential and effectiveness.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field.
- A minimum of ten (10) or more years of relevant experience with semiconductor processing or process integration (an advanced STEM degree could count for 3 years of experience).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience working with GaAs, GaN, and/or GaSb semiconductor processes.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and related SPC software.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Customer focus and collaboration skills.
- Project scheduling and management experience.
- Previous experience with a defense contractor and/or government agency.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Current DoD Secret level security clearance.
Qualifications We Value:
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a STEM Field.
- Experience with cost account management and/or task leadership.
- Statistical Process Control expertise.

- Salary range: $132,400 to $251,600 USD (good‑faith estimate).
