Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer to join a talented, multidisciplinary engineering team focused on the development of precision vacuum pressure measurement instruments serving the semiconductor, medical, and industrial equipment markets.
In this highly visible technical leadership role, you will drive the design, development, and release of innovative products while identifying performance limitations and defining technology roadmaps to advance next-generation sensing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in precision electronics, sensors, instrumentation, and embedded systems, along with a passion for hands‑on engineering and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities Technology Development & Innovation- Leverage extensive knowledge of sensors, instrumentation, and precision electronics to identify barriers to improved product performance.
- Develop new electronic architectures, circuits, and system designs that advance product capabilities and technology leadership.
- Establish technology roadmaps and contribute to long‑term product strategy.
- Lead the design, development, validation, and release of new vacuum sensing products.
- Deliver innovative solutions that provide competitive advantages in performance, reliability, size, and cost.
- Ensure design integrity from concept through production release.
- Serve as a lead member of cross‑functional product development teams.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineering teams across multiple disciplines.
- Lead technical reviews and drive engineering best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges through systematic root cause analysis.
- Support product teams in diagnosing and addressing product performance and reliability issues.
- Develop and execute testing strategies to validate product functionality and performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant engineering experience in product development and electronics design.
- Extensive experience developing multidisciplinary products from concept through release.
- Strong technical leadership experience in complex engineering environments.

- Strong product‑level engineering knowledge with exposure to:
- Electronics
- Firmware
- Mechanical systems

- Hands‑on experience with laboratory testing, test fixture development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of:
- Manufacturing systems
- Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
- Vacuum measurement systems
- Semiconductor capital equipment
- Precision sensors and instrumentation
- High‑performance industrial or scientific instrumentation
- Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable leading technical discussions and presenting engineering solutions.
- Self‑motivated with a strong customer and product focus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams and fast‑paced engineering environments.
