Test Engineer at MKS Andover
As a Test Engineer at MKS Andover, you will partner with R&D, Engineering, Product management, Applications, and customers to develop and support vacuum valves.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Contributing to the design and development of advanced products for Semiconductor Fabrication Equipment.
- Designing and building test equipment for vacuum valves.
- Designing, executing, and documenting performance and life tests.
- Specifying requirements for clean room facilities.
- Specifying requirements for high purity cleaning equipment.
- Designing, specifying, and executing test methods for particle metrology.
Skills You Bring:
- Knowledge and experience of high purity vacuum systems.
- Knowledge and experience with particle metrology for semiconductor processing equipment.
- Knowledge and experience of product testing in an R&D environment.
- BS Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years experience, preferably with Semiconductor Equipment.
- System design and integration skills involving mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and Labview.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with valves for high vacuum equipment.
- Experience with on wafer particle metrology.
Physical Demands &
Working Conditions:
- Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time.
- Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 20 lbs.
- Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environment.
- Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling vacuum systems, mechanical hardware, and associated laboratory equipment.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Pay Range: $
Total Base Pay Range $ - $ per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
Bonus:
This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
