- Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend alternate technical solutions that improve cost, constructability, and system performance.
- Coordinate activities within BIM models and collaborate with project BIM teams.
- Conduct site audits and field walkthroughs and convert findings into construction-ready submittals and design packages.
- Utilize engineering applications including Design 360, Prometheus, Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, and other applicable design tools.
- Successfully manage multiple active projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Building Automation, Building Management Systems, Automatic Temperature Controls, HVAC Controls, or related controls industry.
- Experience supporting controls projects through design, submittals, material selection, construction support, and project execution.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, pumps, valves, sensors, actuators, and control devices.
