RF Validation Engineer - Winter/Spring Co-Op
Join Skyworks in Andover, Massachusetts for a Winter/Spring 2027 Co-Op focused on engineering automation, workflow optimization, and RF product development. In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop productivity tools, analyze engineering data, support RF design and validation activities, and improve development processes across multiple projects. This co-op offers hands-on industry experience, opportunities to build advanced technical skills, and exposure to real-world engineering challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Develop automation tools and scripts to improve engineering workflows and productivity
- Support RFIC and multi-chip module development activities
- Perform test evaluations and data validation for products such as amplifiers, switches, and Wi-Fi FEMs
- Run simulations using tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Keysight ADS, and SPICE
- Create data analysis, visualization, and reporting solutions
- Participate in technical reviews and project presentations
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and make an impact
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams
- Document tools, processes, and best practices
Required
Experience and Skills:
- Currently enrolled in an MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with automation, data analysis, or workflow improvement projects
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Skill, Matlab and data analysis
- Basic understanding of RF concepts and key metrics, including S-parameters, harmonics, IMD, EVM, ACPR, IIP2/3, VSWR, and NF.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired
Experience and Skills:
- Experience with data visualization, databases, or software tool development
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows and engineering productivity tools
- Exposure to semiconductor, RF, or hardware development environments
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
