This is a 2nd shift role which includes a shift premium of 8%. RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and motivated In-Circuit Test (ICT) Engineer to join our team for the 2nd shift at our Andover, MA facility. As an ICT Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test strategies to ensure the highest quality of our products.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Develop new Flying Probe in-circuit test programs for complex circuit card assemblies.
- Diagnose root cause of in-circuit test failures, for deliverable hardware.
- Support troubleshooting and repair of test equipment and fixtures as needed.
- Analyze test data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to resolve issues and improve test processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to test operators and technicians.
- You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in in-circuit test engineering or a related role.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- We Prefer
- Degree in Electrical Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in test program development and debugging.
- Experience with Flying Probe and Bed of Nails systems.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components and circuit theory.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
