Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. This is a 3rd shift role which includes a 12% shift differential. In this role, you will support the 3rd shift production floor of CCM High Mix area in a test engineering capacity. This includes, but is not limited to, training test operators, troubleshooting test equipment and production hardware, and analyzing systemic production failures.
You Will Do
- Interact with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and operations staff to support production testing, requiring effective organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to support production testing.
- Assist with troubleshooting failures on CCAs by performing data analysis and visual inspections.
- Identify trends in defects and collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues in a timely manner to prevent future build process defects.
- May participate in new test set builds.
- Support test equipment coordination between internal customers.
- Maintain and improve production test procedures as well as provide inputs on production procedures across the production floor.
- Contribute to the integration of process improvements into production workflows.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- 1+ years of experience with RF testing equipment.
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and/or mechanical issues.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience preparing and executing procedures.
- Experience troubleshooting systems using general test equipment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information.
- Familiarity with National Instruments (NI) software tools, such as LabVIEW, Test Stand, and NI MAX.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
