Electrical Engineer
Raytheon is seeking electrical engineers with knowledge of analog electronics, power electronics, power systems and servo/motor control systems. The ideal candidate possesses a combination of design, product and production support experience, electronics knowledge, and hands-on laboratory skills.
This is an onsite position at one of the following Massachusetts locations - Tewksbury, Andover, or Marlborough. Location assignments will be made based on business or program need.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with a team of engineers to develop designs based on requirements, operational specifications, and Raytheon guidelines
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and power design products.
- Provide support to production, integration, and test activities
- Gain greater mastery of analog and power engineering design
- Demonstrate self-motivation
- Travel to Marlborough, MA;
Tewksbury, MA;
Andover, MA;
Woburn, MA; and/or Pelham, NH may be required depending on the assignment.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Design, test, and/or production experience with analog or power electronics, power systems, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems.
- Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with requirements development
- Demonstrated ability to lead/manage small teams to achieve schedule, budget and technical commitments.
- Experience generating technical documentation and reports
- Knowledge of test and production methods for electronic components
- Experience interfacing with procurement and manufacturing as well as external suppliers to ensure proper implementation of product designs
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Hardware development experience in a Department of Defense environment
