Leader Bank, N.A., an rapidly growing bank in Massachusetts, has an immediate opening for a Head Teller. This role supports the branch in meeting its sales and service goals by delivering the highest level of customer service, improving operational and product knowledge, productivity, and job efficiency. Under the supervision of the Branch Manager and Assistant Branch Manager, this position conducts financial transactions with customers, encourages sales and referrals of bank products, and provides superior service in a highly professional manner.

• Maintains a high level of understanding of all products and services provided by the Bank.
• Maintains a high level of service quality by acknowledging the customer’s presence through a professional greeting and developing an interpersonal relationship built upon an understanding of customer needs; conveys eagerness/willingness to help.
• Meets customer needs through problem-solving techniques as required.
• Sells and refers Bank products and services within bank guidelines; follows up with prospects, maintains referral documentation, and actively participates in sales promotions.
• Conducts business in a professional manner and maintains a neat and orderly work area.
• Establishes and maintains good working relationships with all Bank employees.
• Participates in community projects and organizations as requested; demonstrates willingness to accept added duties and responsibilities.
• Performs all banking transactions (opening accounts, checking & savings deposits, IRAs, business retirement accounts, and various payments) in accordance with Bank policy.
• Performs teller duties including financial transactions with customers, settlement procedures, and balances cash drawer as needed.
• Understands and adheres to security, compliance, and retail banking policies and procedures.
• Complies with all aspects of Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities, including accurately completing Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), adhering to CIP policy, reporting suspicious activity, and performing OFAC checks.
• Performs other duties as may be required by management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General personal computer knowledge; prior experience with banking applications preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and strong attention to detail.
• Sales- and service-oriented personality.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and evenings on a rotating basis.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of retail banking experience or retail sales and service experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of Leader Bank’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on location, experience, and performance.

Salary Minimum: $46,760.00 – Salary Max: $70,140.00

The range is one component of Leader Bank’s total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, commissions, and incentives.
