Overview
The Land and Air Defense (LADS) team at Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated finance professional to serve as the Ukraine National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) Business Manager (M4) in the Medium Range Air Defense (MRAD) Product Area. The role reports to the Senior Business Manager for FMS NASAMS programs and involves collaborating with the Ukraine NASAMS Program Office, Integrated Product Teams, and Functional leaders to drive program financial management, controls, and guidance.
Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution.
- Brief senior program and product line leaders on program and capture status, demonstrating exceptional financial and business acumen.
- Lead, develop, mentor, and recruit a geographically dispersed program finance team.
- Oversee the development and analysis of key financial data and metrics, including earned‑value cost and schedule metrics, estimates at complete, long‑range and annual operational planning, new business and capital investment analysis, and manpower planning.
- Ensure adequate financial controls that balance finance and operational goals.
- Manage monthly forecasting for bookings, sales, profit, and cash flow.
- Support NASAMS proposal activities.
- Bidding and negotiating FMS contracts (UCAs and definitized contracts).
- Executing large, complex FMS contracts.
- People‑leader skills and team dynamics.
- Shaping, negotiating, and executing Performance Based Payment (PBP) plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field with a minimum of 8 years finance experience; OR an advanced degree with at least 5 years finance experience.
- Experience leading teams and interfacing with senior management and customers, including formal presentations.
- Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and/or Estimates at Complete (EAC).
- Proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) concepts, systems, and processes.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
- Experience with proposal, capture, and/or negotiation.
- Experience with production and/or operational financial management.
- Knowledge of undefinitized contract awards and the definitization process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
- Adept at interpreting and applying financial policies and procedures and communicating effectively.
- Ability to multi‑task and lead dynamic, unique teams.
Competitive salary ranging from $107,500 to $204,500 USD, based on experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and potential short‑ and long‑term incentive compensation programs. Salary and benefits are contingent upon business unit and collective‑bargaining agreements.
