In this role of a Collections Specialist, the candidate will be managing the credit/collection activity for a select customer portfolio toassistwith meeting the company's quarterly cash metrics.
Job Responsibilities:- Credit and Collection Activities
- Cash Application Activities
- Research and resolve unapplied receipts
- Participate in weekly AR Aging reviews
- Actively work to maximize the collection of past-due balances
- Research and resolve any account discrepancies
- Establish &maintain good customer relationships, both internal & external
- Credit evaluations/ New customer setup
- Credit hold maintenance/ releasing orders
- Process credit cards
- Accessing/learning customer portals for invoicing & collection purposes
- Process Improvement Initiatives to achieve great efficiencies and controls
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:- Typically requires 0-1 year experience in credit / collection experience
- Analytical and problem-solving skills related to customer account reconciliations
- ERP experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Month-end closing activities
This position is hybrid out of our Andover, MA location. Enjoy every other Friday off with our 9/80 work schedule!
.Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position
- $34,200.00 - $68,400.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in FL, GA, IN, AZ, AL, MD or TX, and all remote employees
- $38,300.00 - $76,600.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in VA, CA, NH or MA
- $40,400.00 - $80,700.00 annual salary for in-office or hybrid employees in NJ

- the role and related responsibilities;
- education, training, skills and certifications;
- internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles;
- geographic location; and
- alignment with market data.
