Boston Speech Therapy, a woman and speech therapist‑owned company, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist for evaluations and/or supervision. This flexible position enables you to tailor your schedule while providing essential services to clients in need. As an SLP in this role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for clients, assessing their communication skills and needs. Additionally, you may supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), guiding their therapy techniques and ensuring compliance with best practices.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations for clients to assess speech and language abilities
- Develop and interpret assessment reports that inform treatment recommendations
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Collaborate with other professionals, families, and educators to support client needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and supervision activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in conducting evaluations in a clinical setting
- Prior supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Flexibility in scheduling, accommodating personal commitments
- Full-time
- 1099 contract till the end of the year
- $85-90 per hour
