About the roleSeeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support defense and aerospace programs by managing contractual agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating risk.
This role works cross-functionally with legal, procurement, and project teams to support contract execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and legal agreements
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and export control regulations
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and obligations across the project lifecycle
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, liabilities, and compliance issues
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project teams on contract matters
- Maintain contract documentation, templates, and standard procedures
- 5+ years of experience in contracts management within Aerospace or Defense industry
- Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
- Experience with government / defense contracts and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with contract negotiation, administration, and risk management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or related field
- Understanding of technical and legal terminology related to defense contracts
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$55/hr (W-2)
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
