The Raytheon Industry 4.0 Connected Factory Intelligence team is seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Data Architect. Candidate will be responsible for the optimization of data architecture, acquisition, and storage to align with business needs, writing algorithms to interpret raw data for business use, and preparing data for advanced analytics. This role will be a critical technical liaison between the business units.
The ideal candidate should possess experience in seamlessly integrating solutions across various sites and business units.
- Manage and design data architecture to ensure data is accessible, secure and reliable
- Responsible for defining data flow guidelines, ETL pipelines and process
- Responsible for defining efficient SQL query guidelines and layers
- Overseeing database schema and mapping for all product requirements
- Responsible for cloud connectivity to data lakes, warehouses, event hubs and MQTT
- Gather, clean and analyze data to help customers make business decisions
- Design data systems for AI/ML and predictive analytics within I40
- Expected to travel 15% of the time
- Evaluation of new technology and large enterprise data model platforms
- Create an enterprise data management framework and blueprint
- Act as a data steward focused on implementing policies, procedures and practices to ensure the data integrity, quality as well as security
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies, secure digital architectures, data engineering and data analytics.
- Experience creating/managing databases, design data architecture and define data flow and SQL query guidelines.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance
- Ability to oversee Ignition architecture, system admin and gateway configurations
- Demonstrated experience with data validation, visualization, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling
- Proven API creation and deployments
- Generation of comprehensive reports highlighting key findings and trends
- Act as a system administration for Ignition, SQL and Dev Ops
- Ability to oversee database server administration
- Salary range 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD (good faith estimate).
