Position:
Senior Digital Product Configuration Management Engineer (Test Equipment Support)
Location:
Andover, MA, USA. At RTX Facility. Must hold U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance (interim possible). Onsite role.
- Perform builds and releases of digital products manually and/or through certified pipelines.
- Facilitate Digital Change Review Boards (DCRBs).
- Maintain, control, and administer the Digital Products Development Library (DDL).
- Maintain control, traceability, consistency, and security of all configuration items across the digital development lifecycle.
- Ensure disaster recovery for test equipment through creation and maintenance of test equipment images.
- Perform and maintain configuration planning & identification, change management, version control, status accounting, and configuration audits.
- Manage digital product development/media libraries.
- Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build, and versioning.
- Provide administration and control/access to CM relevant tools/applications such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Git Lab, Git Hub, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence.
- Administer and use Dev Sec Ops tools including Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, Git Lab CI/CD, Bamboo.
- Coordinate data transfers and courier support among various environments.
- Lead coordination of digital product releases and interface with functional and program leadership to ensure on‑time delivery and configuration management execution.
- BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience.
- Experience with version control and change management / agile planning tools.
- Experience with DPCM/Dev Sec Ops technology, IT, and/or development/scripting.
- Experience with automation shell scripting in Linux, Unix, and Windows.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance (required day
1). U.S. citizenship is required.
- Basic knowledge of Digital Product / Software Configuration Management principles, processes, and implementation/execution.
- Experience with DP/SW CM tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and/or Artifactory.
- Experience building software / digital products.
- Experience with scripting programming languages (Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, YAML).
- Experience with Continuous Improvement, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Git Flow, and Agile concepts.
