Responsibilities
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for advanced medical device integrations, supporting seamless integration of Smith+Neu systems into hospital IT environments including EHR, PACS, and Digital Operating Rooms.
- Provide escalated technical support for complex integration, configuration, interoperability, and performance issues across hardware and software solutions.
- Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to support installation, configuration, testing, and new product readiness for the Global Service organization.
- Troubleshoot data flow, communication errors, device failures, and configuration conflicts within clinical and IT infrastructures.
- Create and maintain high‑quality documentation, troubleshooting guides, and standardized integration protocols to support consistent service delivery.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders including Sales, R&D, IT, Clinical teams, Operations, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely resolution.
- Deliver training and knowledge sharing to internal teams and end users on integrated device best practices.
- Ensure all service and integration activities comply with regulatory, cybersecurity, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes, tools, and integration capabilities to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
- 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience supporting and integrating medical devices within healthcare or clinical environments.
- Strong working knowledge of medical integration standards such as HL7, DICOM, and IHE.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT infrastructure, system configurations, and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare IT, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- A calm, analytical, and customer‑focused mindset capable of prioritizing in a fast‑paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 10percent as required.
- Base salary range: $77,000–$116,000
USD annually (actual pay based on factors such as experience, location, and internal equity). - Competitive bonus and additional compensation structures.
