Manager Systems Administration; ONSITE

Overview

Lead a team of up to 16 Systems Administrators in the Land & Air Defense Systems (L&ADS) Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon Digital Technology. The role supports classified and unclassified programs in Andover, MA or Pelham, NH and may require occasional work beyond standard hours.

• Develop and lead a high‑performing team in alignment with Raytheon values.
• Partner closely with peer groups to enable flawless Digital service delivery and maintain security compliance requirements.
• Perform workforce planning and resource management.
• Assign and monitor projects and tasks.
• Manage and record employee performance.
• Create and submit periodic status reports and accomplishments to the next level of leadership.
• Administer time reporting, training, recruiting, and onboarding of new employees.
• Support career development of employees.
• Contribute to annual operating planning (AOP) for the team’s Digital scope.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
• Ensure 24x7 system availability, addressing work effort beyond standard hours when required.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience managing, supervising, or leading a team in technological environments.
• Experience with IT system administration duties.
• Preferred:
  Experience managing teams in Agile / Dev Sec Ops  environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
• Demonstrated success in managing projects and leading change efforts in Digital Technology domains.
• Technical expertise with computer infrastructure, including Windows and Linux servers, storage, virtualization and cloud technologies, networking, directory services, and system hardening.
• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting tasks and initiatives.
• Knowledge of DFARs, CMMC, RMF, DAAPM, and JSIG requirements and controls.

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
