Cybersecurity & Network Engineer

Rutter Networking Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing Managed Services and Cybersecurity team. This is an opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, solve complex business challenges, and become a trusted advisor to our clients.

• Design, implement, administer, and support enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions
• Configure and support enterprise networking, firewalls, endpoint security, and secure infrastructure environments
• Perform cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability reviews, and security remediation
• Assist clients with CMMC, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, and other compliance initiatives
• Present technical recommendations to CIOs, CISOs, CEOs, and IT leadership
• Participate in customer QBRs and strategic technology planning
• Serve as a technical resource for escalations and client projects
• Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats, AI, and enterprise technologies

• 3–5 years supporting enterprise infrastructure in an MSP or consulting environment
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Fortinet, and Crowd Strike
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching)
• Experience with Identity & Access Management, Zero Trust architecture, endpoint security, backup and disaster recovery, vulnerability management, and network monitoring
• Familiarity with CMMC, SOC 2, NIST, and cybersecurity best practices
• Must be able to travel to Andover, MA a minimum of three days a week
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers and executive leadership

• CCNA/CCNP
• Security+
• CISSP (or working toward)
• Check Point CCSA/CCSE
• Fortinet NSE
• CMMC Registered Practitioner (preferred)
