Job Title
Alert is an e-grocery robotics company. They retrofit their system into existing Walmart stores. A customer will put their order in online and the robotics system will pick/pack the customers order within minutes. They are only in a few stores right now, but plan to be in 10+ by end of year and 400+ by 2028.
Responsibilities- Triage software issues and come up with fixes.
- Analyze and troubleshoot software issues at production sites.
- Work across teams to solve and communicate status of issues
- Document issues and their solutions using.
- Clearly communicate status of issues internally and externally.
- Create and track key sustaining performance metrics and status.
- Plan and coordinate software maintenance and patch releases.
- Identify and clearly communicate issues, status, risks, and metrics.
- Experience in troubleshooting enterprise software problems
- Experience with coding in C++, Java, and Angular (minimum 5 years)
- Experience in analyzing log files with various tools
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Working knowledge of Linux (CentOS system management)
- Working knowledge of bash shell scripting
- Working knowledge of Java to be able to debug issues in code and fix.
- Working knowledge of software version control systems (git) and software build systems (Jenkins)
- Working knowledge of software installation and maintenance on Linux (CentOS systems)
- Familiarity with communication with devices such as scales and camera systems.
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with Redis
Required Skills :
Must Haves:
• 4-5+ years of experience
• Java – should have coding experience, ability to debug issues in the code
• JIRA for ticketing
• Strong SQL, Bash Shell Scripting – need to be able to dig around in the data logs and understand what went wrong
• Experience in a Linux environment, software maintenance
• Docker & Redis – need foundational understanding
• Personality – very important. Need someone who is willing to be flexible since the team and the processes are new.
