Scheduling Manager

Raytheon is seeking a Scheduling Manager for its Andover, MA facility. The role requires experience with material requirement planning systems in a manufacturing environment and data‑driven decision making for material and workforce forecasting. This position is on‑site.

What You Will Do
  • Present and drive metric‑based improvements across the value stream.
  • Manage a team of production control managers and professionals.
  • Perform material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting.
  • Release production orders in the MRP system and confirm them in the shop‑floor system.
  • Manage and coordinate kit readiness, working with cross‑functional teams in BOM, material master, process engineering, operations, and document control.
  • Provide shop‑floor support, including replacement part management, material staging, WIP movement, completion of units, and delivery to the next step, while meeting the MRP schedule.
  • Control the physical disposition of nonconforming or specially handled material, including return to vendor, purged material, WIP stop per contractual restrictions, and configuration of components/sub‑assemblies.
  • Coordinate and execute program schedules with global supply chain management, subcontracts, engineering, and other functional areas.
  • Support efforts to establish and coordinate all actions to meet customer commitments.
  • Drive accountability across business teams and coordinate escalation across cross‑functional teams.
  • Complete estimate at completion (EAC).
  • Maintain shop‑floor, MRP, and inventory systems using key performance metrics.
  • Process part movement to support internal build requirements through subcontractors, internal resources, and other Raytheon facilities.
Clearance Requirements

This position requires an active DoD Confidential clearance and U.S. citizenship. The clearance must be maintained after day
1.

Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience working with material requirement planning (MRP) systems or special program access applications.
  • Experience in supply chain, production, planning control, MRP, inventory management, or capacity planning.
  • Experience managing daily team operations or equivalent leadership responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with manufacturing tool sets and leveraging information from material receipt through DD250 in a defense contracting organization.
  • Experience with Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) contracts.
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes.
Salary

The salary range for this role is $107,500 USD – $204,500 USD, a good‑faith estimate representing all experience levels.
