Role Summary
Raytheon (RTX) is seeking an experienced Material Program Management (MPM) professional to lead the Patriot GEM‑T Forebody MPM Team, serving as the single point of contact across Program Office, Quality, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Contracts. The role focuses on managing material planning, supplier relationships, and supply chain performance to meet aggressive delivery schedules.
Location: Andover, MA (US‑MA‑ANDOVER‑AN1).
Salary Range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
Employment Type: Onsite.
What You Will Do- Execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
- Support and engage cross‑functional teams to resolve supply‑chain issues and act as the supply‑chain SME.
- Drive processes to successful completion under aggressive delivery schedules.
- Support financial reviews using Earned Value Management and the Estimate at Complete (EAC) process.
- Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity plans, proactively managing mitigation actions.
- Monitor performance metrics and address program or functional issues.
- Participate in CORE projects to enhance supply‑chain performance and continuous improvement.
- Use critical thinking to propose innovative business solutions that increase operational efficiency.
- Influence team decisions and outcomes in a cross‑functional environment.
- Manage multiple conflicting priorities and process information from multiple sources to achieve successful results.
- Lead execution with the Integrated Product Team to increase supply base capacity, align with Long‑Range Planning (LRP), implement cost‑reduction initiatives, and reduce overall cycle time.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
- Experience in supply‑chain, production control, material handling, and/or performance management.
- ERP/MRP experience, such as SAP.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferable qualifications: EVMS certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel including Pivot Tables), excellent reporting and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management, primarily EACs, and its associated processes and tools.
- Experience leading or participating in cross‑functional teams.
Competitive salary range of $132,400 to $251,600 USD, adjustable based on experience, plus eligibility for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, employee scholar program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Compensation may include annual incentive programs based on performance.
