Summary Of Position
The Facilities Technician performs day‑to‑day service and maintenance on cardio and strength equipment. They also carry out general maintenance repairs within the physical plant of each assigned club location to deliver an exceptional member experience.

• Repair out-of‑order equipment as requested by clubs and obtain sign‑off of successful completion by club staff.
• Communicate daily with the Facilities Manager on progress and obstacles at assigned clubs.
• Consistently achieve at‑standard results on the KPI scorecard.
• Manage all aspects of the helpdesk ticketing system for assigned clubs.
• Complete thorough club walk‑through at each location visited for preventative maintenance (e.g., gym floor, storage, backroom, exterior) and ensure adequate cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain and update work schedules using Microsoft Outlook.
• Assist with construction and presales as needed.
• Assist with re‑equips, extractions and installations.
• Maintain company vehicle inventory and cleanliness.
• Accurately document any work done on warranted equipment; target at least 10% of allotted time on warranty work.
• Provide assistance to other Facilities team members as needed.

• Mechanical and electrical service background, highly desired.
• Experience working in a fitness club, preferred.
• Must have a “clean” driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Dependable, responsible and proactive.
• Works well independently and in a team.
• Strong customer service skills and an effective communicator.

• Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and fingers (grasping, handling tools).
• Significant walking, bending, lifting and squatting, with the ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
• Average hearing and voice projection for phone/web communications, one‑on‑one conversations, and large group meetings.
• High visual demand: ability to view close‑up and color documents and spreadsheets, in print and on computer screens.
