Overview

Sr Program Manager, New Product Development (Andover, MA) – Life Unlimited. At Smith+Neb, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. We are looking for a Sr. Program Leader for our Advanced Wound Management Business. This leader will operate Key Innovation Programs and help shape what is possible in Wound Care. The goal of the role is to innovate Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT), delivering enhanced outcomes for acute and chronic wounds, simplifying the clinician experience, and improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build a global program team and lead execution excellence from program inception through product delivery.
  • Collaborate with R&D Leadership to overcome technical challenges and operational hurdles.
  • Work with Product and Portfolio Management on stage‑gating and strategic aspects.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with global stakeholders, ensuring maximum transparency.
  • Mobilize people and resources to deliver on business targets.
  • Develop program budget and monitor spend cross‑functionally.
  • Embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi‑cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader community in the Global PMO, aligned with the Smith+Neb Leadership Imperatives.
Qualifications
  • B.S. degree in a relevant Science or Engineering field.
  • 8+ years of New Product Development Program Leadership experience on a truly global scale, with the proven ability to successfully implement complex programs.
  • Full life‑cycle Product Development experience in a Med Tech domain, preferably in Wound Care.
  • Proven organizational change‑management skills, to be the catalyst for global teams and spearhead the transformation to a fail‑fast‑learn‑fast culture.
  • Travel: 40% internationally, with frequent trips to the UK Hull facility.
