Job SummaryAssociate Director, Operations & Supply Chain Capacity Lead – part of the Global Patriot GEM‑T Missile product area within the Land and Air Defense portfolio. The role leads a team of MPMs & POMs to develop and execute capacity strategy with supply base and factories to meet the significant ramp required on GEM‑T. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Integrated Product Team (IPT), Manufacturing Work Centers, and other functional partners to meet program schedules and cost objectives, presenting strategic plans to leadership, managing Long Range Plan activities, and reporting on supply chain performance.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of MPMs & POMs working closely with the Patriot IPT, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Procurement to support program needs and requirements.
- Shape strategy and lead execution for OSC to increase factory and supply base capacity aligned to the LRP ramp for GEM‑T, including implementing cost‑reduction initiatives and reducing overall cycle time.
- Manage EACs, financial responsibilities related to tech refresh/development and capacity increase scope; drive EAC performance, risk & opportunity management, earned value, labor sales forecasts, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Determine make‑/buy‑where strategy across ~3,500 part GEM‑T Bill of Materials, developing a robust dual‐sourcing strategy and capital planning to support multiple integration sites domestically and internationally.
- Partner with Product Line / Program to schedule capacity ramp and align with forecasted captures, ensuring robust execution strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams in areas such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality, or Engineering.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills.
- Must be able to work onsite daily in Andover, MA and travel approximately 25% when required.
- Must obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience in an international, multi‑cultural organization with Global Trade requirements, RGEMS, etc.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, PRISM/CMES.
- Strong business acumen with budget and schedule responsibility, including contract management or negotiations.
- Track record of increasing capacity for complex, high‑profile products.
- CORE Certification.
Salary Range: $157,200 – $298,800 USD (good‑faith estimate)
