Position Summary
Senior Section Lead – Semiconductor Process Integration and Yield, a leadership role within the RF Microelectronics / Module Design and Foundry Services Department ed in Andover, MA, this 100% on‑site position directs a team of process integration and yield engineers to fabricate advanced microelectronic devices across multiple semiconductor technologies.
Responsibilities- Direct a team of up to 20 engineers, guiding career development and maximizing productivity.
- Review and oversee project schedules, costs, and process changes to improve product yields.
- Champion process improvement opportunities and conduct yield investigations across process engineering work centers.
- Interface with operations management and facilitate allocation of team resources to support foundry process oversight.
- Lead manpower and resource planning, controlling overhead costs, and delivering performance reviews.
- Support department, directorate, and functional leadership levels; participate in proposal development.
- Maintain a U.S. Secret level security clearance and comply with all security requirements.
- Be present on the foundry floor to address technical and logistical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor processing or process integration (advanced STEM degree may count for 3 years).
- Hands‑on experience with III‑V semiconductor processes (GaAs, GaN, or GaSb).
- Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) software and root‑cause analysis.
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Project scheduling and management experience.
- Previous experience with a defense contractor or government agency is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Advanced STEM degree (Master’s or Ph.D.).
- Experience with GaAs, GaN, GaSb processing.
- Knowledge of SPC and root‑cause analysis techniques.
- Prior work with defense contractors or government agencies.
Competitive salary range of $132,400 - $251,600 based on experience.
