We are on the lookout for an inspiring and dynamic Senior Director of Day Program Services to lead our dedicated team in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Required Skills:
  • Must have DDS Experience
  • Must have Day Habilitation experience
  • Proven experience overseeing multiple service locations or day programs, ideally within developmental or rehabilitation services.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor Site Directors, coordinators, and staff.
  • Profound understanding of regulatory requirements, licensing, credentialing, and safety standards in the human services or related sectors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, develop programs, and ensure compliance with funding and licensing standards.
  • Exceptional judgment and crisis management capabilities, ensuring safety and regulatory adherence at all times.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with funding sources, families, and internal teams.
  • Ability to handle complex schedules, deadlines, and high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness.
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Experience developing new programs or expanding existing services within a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of innovative therapeutic approaches or skill development strategies for individuals with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and billing systems specific to human services.
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least five years’ experience leading day programs or similar service environments, with a proven track record of operational excellence and compliance.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to perform physical duties associated with personal care, including lifting and transferring, and administer FA/CPR.
  • Willingness to travel frequently between the three program sites and to external meetings.
  • Ability to maintain a calm, solution-focused demeanor in high-stress situations.
