What

You Will Achieve
  • With minimal supervision calibrate, repair, and perform troubleshooting as necessary within the following disciplines: weight, pressure, flow, temperature, conductivity, UV, PH, DO2, among others in a GMP environment.
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Read and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams and engineering drawings.
  • Ensure all maintenance activity is completed within designated timeframe by filing proper documentation per Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements and protocols.
  • Make and assist customers with recommendations for purchasing equipment to ensure operational requirements are met.
  • Read and interpret detailed OEM technical manuals as part of troubleshooting efforts.
  • Manage time and professional development with assistance of Lead Tech or Supervisor.
  • Knowledge of general shop safety practices, including handling and storage of calibration standards, consumable and hazardous items, and proper workplace ergonomics.
Here Is What You Need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Calibration or Instrumentation & Controls experience, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics.
  • Excellent computer user skills
  • Functional or Technical Knowledge of basic discipline
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound interpersonal, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environment.
Bonus Points If You Have
  • Military training (PMEL) is preferred.
  • Previous Biopharma experience
  • Previous experience working with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Experience with PLC’s, 4-20mA control loops, VFD’s, Transmitters, Encoders, Hart Communicators, Signal Conditioners, Relays and other industry-based components.
  • Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration, Good Manufacturing Practices {also cGMP} policies and procedures.
  • Good organizational and planning skills, some analytical and problem-solving ability, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Familiarity with electrical test equipment including but not limited to multi-meters, clamp-on current meters, process meters etc.
  • LOTO, EQP experience
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This position will involve field work and office work requiring sitting, standing and walking. This position may also require the ability to climb ladders and work at heights while being tied off; be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to wear a clean room gown.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Requirements include the ability to work outside normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, and off shift as needed
